Accommodation Fentonbury

Overflowing beds of cottage garden favourites intermingled with natives surround the cottage. These melt into a sprawling vegetable patch, which in turn leads to an orchard and a series of water ponds. There is a 1.5 km walking track along our creek and around extensive dams where our resident platypus and other wildlife are often seen. It is also a bird watchers paradise with over 30 varieties of birds in Summer.

Hamlet Downs offers four guest bedrooms:

• Possum – king sized bed with ensuite
• Bandicoot – queen sized bed with ensuite
• Platypus – queen sized bed and private bathroom facilities
• Potaroo – 2 single beds with private bathroom facilities
• A cot is available on request at extra cost.

Each suite has its own private lounge/dining area. There are no shared internal facilities so clients may enjoy a private stay. The facility is fully heated, with either a fireplace or electric heaters. There is also a full kitchen in the self contained facility. The King room has no cooking facilities except for toaster, kettle and a micro-wave. Coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryers, CD player, radios and television are also provided. A laundry is also available with use of machines at extra cost.

Light provisions or a fully cooked breakfast is available at extra cost as well as dinner, which ranges from light meals to a full 3 course banquet. We use our own home-grown seasonal produce for meals including free range eggs. If you're interested, we can provide Greek meals with prior arrangements.
