Honeysuckle Cottages are eight charming brick cottages with federation – era décor nestled amongst thick mountain bushland next door to Old Caves Winery 3 klm north of Stanthorpe. We were judged Runner-up and Winner in 2001 and 2002 of the Hosted Accommodation category of the HMAA Queensland Awards for Excellence.

Choose from one and two bedroom self contained cottages with dual spa bath, log fires, TV and stereo systems. Queen size beds with continental quilts, electric blankets and quality linen will ensure your comfort if you're visiting during the sub-zero winter months. The cottages are all fully insulated, keeping summer heat out and winter warmth in.

A delicious country-style breakfast basket is included in the tariff, and each cottage has full cooking facilities for you to prepare your breakfast at your leisure.

The Rocks Restaurant is located on site and open for dinner six nights per week serving beautiful a-la-carte dishes by world renowned chef Tony Southgate. Dinner can also be served in your cottage, course by course.

Shops, golf course and galleries are only 3 minutes away.

Murray Gardens is a unique complex as it is set on 20 acres of bushland, yet only a 15 minute walk from the Stanthorpe CBD. Here you can choose between 2 bedroom self-contained cottages and spacious motel rooms.

Stanthorpe is the heart of the Granite Belt, home of the Queensland wine industry. You can visit over 50 wineries with cellar doors, lavender farms, art galleries, fruit farms (apples, stone fruit, berries etc.). Three magnificent national parks are within an hour's drive, as well as Tenterfield, birthplace of Federation.
